After Team Canada’s scrimmage against a team of Alberta CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) players, the final cuts were made to formalize Canada’s World Junior Championship roster. Unfortunately, Caps 2012 first-round draft pick Tom Wilson did not make the cut. He took to Twitter to express his appreciation and well-wishes to his Canadian brethren.

All of us here at Capitals Outsider wish Tom the best of luck as he returns to the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League to finish out the remainder of the season.
