Welcome Back, Stretch!

Dust off those old Leonhardt jerseys, because the Caps are adding Brett “Stretch” Leonhardt to the coaching staff.

Leonhardt, once the team’s website producer, is most famous in Washington for being an emergency backup goalie for a period in Dec. 2008.

Mike Vogel reported the news of Leonhardt’s return on his blog, Dump n’ Chase.

Let’s hope he also takes back his duties of being team DJ during game-day warmups.
