Thank You, Mike Knuble

He played with honor and valor.  He was a leader without the ‘C’, in the shape we all wish we could be at 39, and  a media darling. His old man legs made the play that knocked the defending Stanley Cup champions out of the playoffs. Best of all, he sacrificed goats.

After three seasons in Washington, Mike Knuble says he was informed by the Capitals that he will not be back next season. Though it came as no surprise, it’s that dreaded moment when there’s nothing to do but give him a final salute.

Here’s Mike talking to Caps Outsider about the off-ice highlight of his professional hockey career.
