Capitals defenseman Karl Alzner is one of the most likable players in the locker room. He is always friendly to the media, including Caps Outsider, and regularly gives fans a peek into his life on Twitter.
Maybe he has a self-deprecating sense of humor about hockey teams losing in the playoffs, or maybe this avatar is a genuine look into his offseason interests. Whatever the case may be, we ask him kindly: Golf sucks and please change it back to hockey, Karl!
