Capitals fans often find themselves wondering why so many local department stores carry Redskins, Nationals, Ravens and Maryland Terps gear but barely have anything Caps-related. In the last year or so, some of those places have gotten better, like Kohls, but then I walked into Lids, one of those hat-only places at malls. Lids, too, used to have everything but Caps hats, but this time I was delighted to see an entire rack with several to choose from, including Winter Classic leftovers if you still want to reminisce via headware.
