The poster above greeted fans at the door at The Verizon Center last night, in celebration of The Winter Classic. While I appreciate the free gift, I can’t help but notice a glaring issue with the design. I know there are print deadlines, and there were probably issues scheduling a proper photo shoot, but did they really think nobody would notice? Maybe I’m just picky, but I prefer my commemorative Winter Classic poster actually feature the players wearing something close to what they’ll be wearing at the event.
