Andrew Gordon’s smooch of Marcus Johansson in Tuesday’s 5-1 victory inspired us to look up more video of NHL players kissing each other on the ice. We were also determined to make a Don’t Ask Don’t Tell joke but that would be lame.
The best ‘kiss’ between NHL players was when Philadelphia’s Jeremy Roenick pretended to make out with March Recchi in Toronto when the Air Canada Center’s Kiss Cam filmed them. Unfortunately, video of the incident is difficult to find. Says Roenick: ”How many guys in the National Hockey League would actually do that? You guys thought I wouldn’t do that. Recchs is a good friend of mine. I like to have fun. I’m stable in my sexuality.”
