Pink Song to Blame for Caps Loss to Flyers

Philly-based journalist Matt Borlik, a lifelong Capitals fan, noticed something the other night which might explain why the Capitals lost to Philadelphia.

During the home game, the Capitals played, “Let’s Get This Party Started” by the artist Pink, who is a Philly native. That would be like playing Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run” during a New Jersey Devils road game. What were the Caps thinking?

Borlik writes in The Key, “This musical misstep (or internal sabotage?) on the part of the Washington Capitals organization is quite clearly to blame.”

  • Someone in the Washington Capitals organization doesn’t realize Pink is from Philly (or do they?)
