Fighting With… Alan May

mayBefore he became the very knowledgeable CSN Washington post-game commentator, Alan May was a ultimate fighter hockey player in Washington from 1989-1994, where he amassed an astounding 1189 penalty minutes in only 345 regular-season games.

May retired from professional hockey in 1999, but is now one of the most credible voices on the Caps in Washington media (you know, considering he actually played).

When he came back to Washington last season, I was hoping he’d have a tough guy mentality on the air, like when Jesse “The Body” Ventura did analysis for WWF, but May takes his hockey and analysis very seriously.

He also tweets, many of which are jokes about Craig Laughlin.
