Today’s regular season finale ended in curious fashion. With the Capitals and Bruins skating to a 3-3 tie in overtime, the game went to the shootout. With the game meaningless in the standings, and personal milestones unaffected by shootout performance, Bruce Boudreau elected to go with some surprising choices. Matt Bradley was one of the selected players, and we spoke to him briefly after the game :
