Ovechkin Injured – “Day-to-Day; Upper Body Injury”
Alex Ovechkin left tonight’s game against the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2nd period. He was involved in a couple of rough plays, including a scrum in front of the Jacket’s bench. Following the play, he was adjusting his pads in the penalty box. He then left the ice after getting tangled up with Raffi Torres, and falling awkwardly to the ice. Backstrom Scores, Frank the Tank Celebrates
This post is really just an excuse to test out our new Flipcams and YouTube Channel. Here at Capitals Outsider, we have recently invested in some rudimentary video equipment, so that we can bring you some multimedia goodness. So what better way to test those capabilities than to look at a goal celebration, featuring my favorite post-goal video clip of Frank the Tank and his machine guns. Dan Snyder Would Have Sent These Young Ladies Home
Dan Snyder’s new sign policy is well documented. For the “safety” of his customers (and his ego), signs are no longer permitted in the not-so-friendly confines of FedEx Field. With the Skins on a bye this week (yet still losing), we caught up with the dangerous sign toting fans at the Capitals game. Luckily Ted Leonsis doesn’t have a similar policy, so these young ladies will be able to enjoy the game today. More after the jump.
