It’s not the first one he made, and it likely won’t be the last, but action figure guru and sports memorabilia nut Todd McFarlane presents… Alexander Ovechkin 3 (Buy from Amazon), from McFarlane’s Sports Picks: NHL Hockey Series 22. It’s a 6-inch figure in blister card packaging, with Ovie, once again, wearing an untinted face shield.
Mr. McFarlane, Ovechkin is the NHL’s back-to-back MVP, and everyone in the world knows that he wears a TINTED FACE SHIELD. Also, he’s missing a front tooth and that too could have been a detail that makes this figure different than the others.
