From the same folks that bring you Gunaxin, we’d like to welcome you to the brand new Capitals Outsider. Yep, you guessed it, another Washington Capitals blog. Several of us Gunaxin guys are huge Caps fans, so when we heard FanSided was looking to add a site for each team in the league, we figured we would jump at the chance to start a new site. We don’t consider ourselves “Insiders” like the folks over at the Post, hence the name of the site. We know there are already some great Caps sites out there, so we are going to try to be a bit different than your typical Caps Blog. Consider it your offbeat look at the Washington Capitals. For example, instead of covering Alex Ovechkin and Mike Green, we are going to give you all of the Boyd Gordon and Milan Jurcina coverage you can handle. Yeah, pretty doubtful.
In order to get this site going in the right direction, we have populated it with some back stories from Gunaxin.com. Since we have been covering the Caps periodically on that site for the past 4 months, it made sense to bring some of our hockey content over from the other site. So before you go alerting the Copyright Police, know that we have permission to gank that content. So sit back and relax, welcome to the new site, and we look forward to amusing and offending you.
